We tested this product extensively in collaboration with anglers and brought it to market. It is specially made for transporting belly boats. The center of gravity of the axle is approximately in the middle, which makes transport much easier. This means the belly boat can be carried fully loaded to the water.
We chose the Kiwi Wheels from Railblaza as tires. They have a wide and rubberized surface, which means they sink less in sand and run very smoothly. The tires' plain bearings have very low frictional resistance, which is why the tires roll very smoothly on the carbon rod.
The pole is made of real carbon and has a wall thickness of 2 mm. Carbon is particularly light and has a much higher strength and rigidity than aluminum or stainless steel. The 4 pipe clamps are the perfect size and look like they were made for it. These pipe clamps prevent the wheel from slipping back and forth. Adjusting the clamps is easy with a built-in screw, which does not damage the carbon rod. There are discreet, flat plastic caps at the ends of the carbon rod.
